Freegro® tree shelters are manufactured by Certified Plant Shelters in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada.

Robotic sewing machines are used to sew the cylindrical fabric socks to the specialized, friction-grip equipped, rims. The rims themselves are made in a fully automated process. Special attention is given to quality control during all phases of shelter assembly. Only materials that have been extensively field tested for durability and the specified longevity are used.

Use of leading-edge technology allows Certified Plant Shelters to cost effectively produce a wide range of robust Freegro® tree shelters which are then economically shipped, thanks to Freegro®’s nestability (low volume per unit), to various destinations around the world from one of Canada’s major ports.
